OVERVIEW
Due to COVID-19, I did not have the opportunity to intern in the summer of 2020. I began freelancing and creating "happy place paintings" to sell to family, friends, and interested customers.
The meaning of a home is greater today than ever before. I wanted to give my clients something they could love forever that is different than a photograph.
I worked with over 40 clients to create portraits of their homes in watercolor and ink. Price varied depending on the intricacy, coloration, and detail of the house.
The pandemic brought an overwhelming gratitude for the things we do have, especially the roofs over our heads. Home was and still is a safe haven, and I was lucky enough to help my clients appreciate their homes even more.
